Re: OOC General Discussion

True enough enough, true enough. Though the biggest problem is going to be with the medical aspect, though it is DM call, there's plenty of concepts where normal healing actually hurts undead.

That and we got Paladins and Clerics, Frances has a good reason to be fearful, at least, in the beginning. Though I would love to have him more open and relaxed, cause who wouldn't want to see a violin playing, dancing and singing skeleton? Also looked up Karrnathi, and I would say no but in character Frances wouldn't know who those were so he could only guess he wasn't.

Okay, that art work is amazing. Also to answer your question about Frances, that all kind of depends. If it looks like the skeletons are walking around 'only' in the Dungeon dorm then he'll be willing to go there out of hiding, but anywhere else he will still be in full disguise.

If they are walking around and generally accepted outside of the Dungeon dorm then he'll start opening up to the rest of the people, which would be a first sense, let's face it, to a normal person, what's the first thing they would do seeing an undead skeleton walking around?

Clearly if Undertale is any indication, they make friends with them.

Re: OOC General Discussion

To be fair as well, there were literal demons and worse just chilling and being around at the festival.  Possibly undead just chilling too.  While there are admittedly Order of the Buzzkill Paladins around, the population is so diverse anything ultimately goes.

Re: OOC General Discussion

So, I'm thinking of putting a thread here in OOC for item Frances' Item Identify Service, more or so a list and request if that's alright. I did place an add in game in the lobby but afraid that it might get forgotten and anyone new coming in won't know of it. Just wanting to check to make sure this is alright first.

Why wouldn't you? Bitch is scary, and possibly contagious....lol

Anyways, chiming in here as the player of the former Qualmegoth Ksh'finiyuul to say I'm very glad that this setting is starting back up. If I had any idea how 5th Edition worked, and didn't have a marked preference for 3.5, I'd be all over trying to make a comeback...lol

Re: OOC General Discussion

:-) Glad to be remembered fondly! lol

I might try to suss out 5th Edition, but having no income to spend on books hampers me in that regard. Nevertheless, I may resubmit Qualmegoth again, especially since we never got around to killing Thamior....lol

Re: OOC General Discussion

The basic rules are free, although granted, it limits you to the "core four" (cleric, fighter, magic-user, thief, ahem)
http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/basicrules

Beyond that, I have pretty much everything, so any specifics I can help you with.
