Re: True Adventure

"Oh, right," Trivia said. "This used to be a keep in defense of a nearby village, but a natural calamity buried it underground, where over time it became the lair of an evil druid. It was a very popular adventure site for some time, although in recent years a business consortium bought it out and refit it as an 'adventure experience.'" She scratched behind her ear. "Calbert thinks those are better for freshmen expeditions that live adventure sites."

Re: True Adventure

"Pfff.  I was fightin' the mob on like, my first day in Sigil. I think we can handle live sites.  Anyway, someone wasn't happy with the 'adventure experience'. That druid still around?"

Re: True Adventure

Trivia shakes her head in answer to Leo's question. "He's actually on faculty at school now. There were some copycats trying to take his place after his initial defeat, but I don't think any of them were particularly memorable."

Drillv, with Rae's help, manages to get the door open.

Re: True Adventure

While listening to Trivia Frances would snap his gloved fingers together as he asked "What was the nature of the calamity that hit this place exactly? A sink hole or earthquake opening up the floor?" He asked. "Could be some vengeful old enemies of the town still harbor hate for its old defenses?"

Re: True Adventure

Rae will enter the next room and look around... but unless its something that's obvious, she doesn't see it.

Re: True Adventure

"So this druid works at a school that has at least yearly expeditions to his old lair.  Yeah, I'm not ruling him out."

"Me neither," says Leo as he scans the new room.

Re: True Adventure

The room is wide, with a curvature on the lefthand wall, with no doors beyond the one you enter through. The room is dusty to the point that it looks like a layer of gray snow, although footprints and signs of a struggle are present, along with the bodies of a trio of tour guides The most impressive bit here, though, is the tremendous statue of a dragon.

Leo notices the outline of a door that was obviously once secret, although use has made the seam more visible.

Re: True Adventure

"Secret door there." Leo points. "Well, secret-ish. Any a y'all recognize the dragon?"
