Daran, feeling self conscious about his earlier flub, double checks to make sure he's got a cannonball in the cannon.

He lines up a shot and lights the fuse.
BOOM! and a shot flies out heading striaght for the ship.

Daran turns around and faces the men. "No, they haven't. Not at all. They're good innocent people. You. You're the true filth."
Daran runs to the group trying to get between them weapons ready.
He shouts, "Deshi Bashara" as he cast Hunter's Mark on the leader. And slashes at the officers chest with his longsword.

Daran had been searching through the village starting from the shoreline going through each hut/building in a counter clockwise fashion. The village had been wiped out and it reminded him of his own ravaged village. He saw the faces of his friends and family on the faces of the poor massacred villagers. Anger grew inside him. He knew he would need to wipe out everyone involved in this atrocity.
On hearing a woman screaming (Lilly) he would rush toward the sound. His weapons already drawn.

"Hey Captain, Lrz. The book-- I picked this up last time we were here. A bookkeeper named Isabella wanted me to give it to you, Captain. She called you Yawlgruff. Seems like you two might have some history."
