Lorenzo gives a wave to the green frog man as he comes in.
"G'day, mate! I was told you could help set me up with gator meat?"
As he steps in, he looks around curious to see what a pet shop with velociraptors in the window might have. Though he does take a moment to dangle a finger lightly over the owlbear cubs and raptors to play with them a bit.

Rae grins. "Arr, that be okay. We aren't shoppin', we just be lookin' fer something's t' buy."
She looks around the store, and is drawn to anything that looks like a tropical bird of nearly any sort.

"Gator meat, gator meat," the slaad says, looking around the meat cases. He hands a couple of packages to Lorenzo. "Very good, that's 16 gp a pound, 6 pounds, so... 14 silver pieces."
There are a wide variety of beasts in the store, ranging from normal pets of every sort to much more exotic things, although there's no logic to how the store is organized: house cats next to bear cubs, next to giant rhinoceros beetles next to more house cats. It isn't INSANELY random; he hasn't put cats IN the bear cages. But there's no organization whatsoever.
That said, there's any number of tropical birds, from parrots to toucans, to small baby rocs (which will probably grow out of any home you bring it to) to hornbills.

Rae hands a gold piece to the frog person. Her eyes wander around to the tropical birds as she holds her hand out for change.

Jennifer looked at the amphibian creature with confusion mixed with hints of fear and just a touch of disgust. It couldn’t be one, all sense of reason defied it, but then again reason might not be applicable in such a situation. She wasn’t sure if Max was a slaad, one of the grotesque minions of chaos, despised only less than demons because their largely unorganized nature made them less distinct of a threat. That being said at least Demons were reliable in the fact that conflict was generally assumed. Salads on the other hand. She wasn’t even sure if running was the best option. At the very least though, confrontation seemed like a bad idea. If he wasn’t a Slaad, she would come across as extremely rude to assume its plane of origin, and possible even racist. And if it was a slaad, well she didn’t know what would happen then, but she was sure it would be bad.
No, best to just try to ignore it, and search the shop instead. One thing was for sure, and that was if there were Bezekira here, they would surely be upset with the disorganized nature of their current home, as well as possibly its owner. And that possibility was something she certainly couldn’t stand for.

Lorenzo forks over the change for that, though he seems distracted by the different creatures in the room.
"Thanks, bud. Um...huhn. Don't suppose you could use a hand around here, could you?"

When the lizard man forks over an extra 4 silver to make up the difference, Rae pulls her hand back nonchalantly, still looking around at the pretty feathered birds in the shop.

The slaad glances at the gold piece, pockets it, and returns a gold piece to Rae's hand.
Jennifer finds a sole hellkitten which yawns widely and stretches in a little glass case. The next cage over, a newly hatched allosaurus seems to be trying to figure out how to get through the glass to it.

Rae pockets the gold piece, "Pleasure not doin' business wit' ye." Then she moves around the store while Lorenzo discusses job opportunities.

Shiori stares around the room, fascinated by the variety and cooing a little over the velociraptors, but eventually remembers herself enough to ask Lorenzo, "What do you want with gator meat?"
