This time, the insults seem to affect Dirkk', who frowns, and turns his efforts to the bard, slashing fiercely. Or... not, as it happens.
Meanwhile, in the background, the ettin is struggling to keep Mialee and Lidda occupied for a round or two, although he's clearly regretting many life choices.

Marty saw her opening and thrust quickly forward, poking the egotistical jerk right in the ass.
"Thanks Leo." She flashed the bard a grateful smile.

Dirkk' yelps as he gets poked in the hinder, then glares and clutches his head as Leo continues his ridicule. "No!" he shouts. "No, no, no, no, no!!!" He slashes once more at Leo, then the DM throws that d20 away and looks for another one.

"Dude, you'd so be better off if you just gave up. Or ran away." Marty swished and sliced his pretty clothes as she cut her way to flesh.

"Enough!" Dirkk' declares as Marty rips his fancy shirt. "You've won this round... whoever you are! But you have made a powerful enemy this night! We shall see one another again!" He storms across the dance floor to the front door. "Bert'nernie!"
Bert'nernie is lying on the ground staring at the ceiling, with a Mialee looking down at him and a Lidda standing on his stomach.
"Never mind." Dirkk' slams the door behind him.

Ignoring the retreating loser, and avoiding Leo, Marty skates over to Bert'nernie and checks his pulses. "You okay?" She asks after the check and a few wake-up slaps.

"Mighty fine shindig," declares Leo. He saunters over to the ladies and the fallen ettin.
"Everything alright over here, gals?"
