Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

"To be fair, they wouldn't be a proper antagonist team if they weren't just a step ahead either at the treasure or on the way, would they?  Assuming you guys caught the direct portal too?"
Lorenzo looks to Chi Chi and shrugs, then offers some more dried snake because why not.  Then gives a wave to Mitzi.
"Nice meeting you Mitzi.  Friend of theirs or in it for the swag?"

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

Sarah sighs exasperatedly as she mutters to herself, "I did not bring enough ordnance for this..." She rolls her eyes and shouts at Creig, "I did warn you, you dork! I don't miss!"

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

Jennifer, still somewhat caught up in the game show atmosphere, waved excitedly at the other team

“Hi Chi-chi!, Isn’t this fun? Let’s all do our best!”

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

"The rules are as follows," The Host says. "Many centuries ago," he is clearly bullshitting, "the progenitor races left behind a precious artifact, THIS," a picture of a nice-looking cloak appears on the giant screen, "Cloak of the Progenitors." Applause arises from somewhere. "And the only way to reach it is for the bold and virtuous TEAM 1 to find their way through the tangle of traps and puzzles left behind by these ancient beings who were far more intelligent than you or... Well, not I. I'm amazingly superior to the progenitors of any world. BUT..."
He snaps his fingers, and a trapdoor opens under Creig and his group, and they all fall through. Even Kel, who seems to be subject to plummeting through the pit even though he was flying when it opened.
"If Team 2 can stop them from claiming the cloak before this timer runs out," an hourglass appears in the air and flips over, "They win the fabulous prize package Stef will describe as our players, um... play! But if any member of Team 1 lays a single finger on the cloak, they win it all!"

"Losing team goes home with Tortle Wax brand chariot polish," Stef mutters half-heartedly, "and a year's supply of Rice-a-Ruckus, the Korranberg treat."

A door opens in the side of the Rube Tube. "Are you ready, team 1!?"

"...Yes."  Urge to kill, rising...

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

"Are any of the traps or puzzles bullywug-based?" t'Nee asks the Host.

without waiting for an answer, he leaps and sticks both of his feet to the side of the Rube Cube above the door. He bends down and peeks inside, spear at the ready.

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

"C'mon, you get to bash a git in the face. Sounds like a fun time to me!"
He grins wide as he prepares to run for the door on the word go.

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

Sarah's jaw drops as team 2 plummets down through the trapdoor and mutters to herself, "I hope they're okay..." Then looks suspiciously at the door but walks towards it slowly, cannon drawn and ready to fire if something leaps out as soon as it opens.

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

t'Nee peeks in, but all he sees is a corridor.

"Get out alive!" The Host bellows, firing what looks like a black powder pistol into the air, but instead of a bullet, a flag pops out that says "GO"
