"Aren't you poisonous?" Kel asks, at the invitation.
t'Nee's spear goes awkwardly between the spined devil's spines, but the kicks both land cleanly on its face.

Lorenzo's eyes go to slits as he gives a roar that feels like it should shake the room, charging the other spinagon and slamming his maul down at their skull in a fluid motion.
"STAND DOWN OR YOU'RE ON THE MENU!"
(Rolled 19 to hit on rage, 9 damage)

"I guess so, but only a little bit. It won't hurt you, only make you a bit woozy. I mean, you can fly, right? Hover around me if it makes you feel safer. I'd hate to see these devils eat you as a snack." t'Nee says to Kel as a free action not on his turn.

Because I want to eat you as a snack, t'Nee thinks to himself as a free action also not on his turn.

However, what if I told you that I happened to be the daughter of a rather powerful devil, one that would be more than willing to help you guys get the claw in the door that you two need to move on to bigger and better things. Because let's face it, do you really want to be Spinagons forever? I've got a barbed devil brother, all the same spikiness, plus a load more strength, respect, and even some nice stock options down the road from what I hear."

she lowered her voice at the next part, hoping that her first part had won their attention to listen it while trying to removing the possibility of someone else fluent in Infernal listening in. "Listen, there's no need to compromise your orders, we can give the audience a good show, we can even let you guys get a nice hit or two in. We leave each other alive, I leave you my dad's contact info, and recommend you guys to him before you go in. Sound fair?"

Unit ignored the girls arguing and charges the devils, trying to drive his sword through one of them, but his thrust misses.  He falls into a defensive stance, ready to defend.
