Jennifer sighed in relief that the Devils were being agreeable.
"Hooray." Jennifer said stiffly. "We are victorious. Let us away, for we have defeated the challenge and no longer have any reason at all to linger in this room. Off we go." she made several exaggerated steps towards the exit, somewhat obviously watching and waiting for the rest of the group to follow.

Sarah frowns unhappily at the sudden ease of victory (and the supposedly dead Spinagon saying 'ow!'), but a thought occurs to her and she smirks, then says to Jennifer, "You've got to teach me that spell some time."

Jennifer looked more than a little nervous as she stammered. "Uh, yeah, would really love to. But... you know, it's a... divine spell, you know that pesky arcane/divine divide. We can discuss it in detail... once we have exited the room."

Lorenzo looks to Jenn, then to the "corpses" in his hand and on the floor.
"...Ultimate, Instantaneous Spinagon Destruction Wave, hm."
He picks up the other one, looking first to Jenn in a sideways glance, then long and hard at the limp fiends. Long enough to likely freak Jenn out as he has to realize they're not dead but just faking and ruin every-
"Well, should probably see these two get put to rest proper then for the fight they put up - although their leader is still here."
As he shoves the two fiends into his bag and stalks towards Kel, he gives Jenn a quick wink before looming over the pixie, teeth bared and snarling.
"'Course that leaves the question of what to do with you. Got any quick suggestions that don't end with you as an appetizer, Kel?"

Unit raises his sword for a second, just to make sure, then shrugs and follows Jennifer to the door.

Kel looks Lorenzo in the eye and says, "Because I'm Billen's roommate, and if you kill me, he'll get straight As for the semester, and that kid will FREAK OUT if he finds out he owns straight As."
Before Jennifer and Unit can leave, a siren and bell sound and a pedestal rises from the ground with a box atop it. The Host says, rather unhappily, "For that... impressive victory, it looks like our heroes win the contents of this secret box. OR," he gets a bit more excited, "they can abandon that prize in exchange for the key to the SECRET DOOR!" A light falls on the far wall, exposing a door no one had noticed before, with a large numeral 1 on it.

"Problem with that is we all get a free res. Or you could bail on Creig now for getting you into a mess where you had two spinagons possibly ready to eat you. I mean, antagonist groups, they always tend to have backstabs, true?"
He shows more teeth to Kel, putting a hand on his shoulder in a way that was less than comforting. Though at the box option, he calls out.
"I like the idea of the box!"

"Wait, the box could be full of acid, or bees!"

"Or the key to another secret door!"

"Who needs keys to open doors, we have Shiori with us. Thanks for pointing out the door though, Host." t'Nee croaks.
"As for Kel....we could strap him to me, he's bound to fail his CON save eventually and then he'd be pretty harmless even if he did try and backstab us, but it won't technically hurt him either."
