Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

"Gonna say box since we could go box, box, door then, myself.  What about you lot?"

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

t'Nee shrugs as he finishes gnawing at the bullywug tendon.

"I got what I came for, so I'll happily go along with whatever. Still, wasn't this supposed to be a race? We're doing a lot of backtracking for a race."

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

Unit peers over the edge of the pit.  "This looks like a trap of some kind to me."

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

Lorenzo looks down the pit, then to Unit, where he just can't resist the remark.
"Was it the pit or the bullywug that tipped you off?  So far it seems to be working on game show logic, though - loot or risk for your next chance, no certainty over what it is."

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

Sarah shakes her head and says, "Whatever lies beyond will surely be better than whatever is in this box. And for a game show, this hasn't been all that difficult has it? I say we go for it."

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

t’Nee eyes the pit and spits at the bullywug.

”Honestly I’m surprised even a bullywug is incompetent enough to fall down a pit. Wastri would be so ashamed of you. Do you even hop bro?” he asks, flexing his hind legs.

"So door, undecided who goes to majority, box.  Unit, Jenn, Shiori, choices?  They like to have them quick."

"We can't predict what might happen if we try to cross the pit, it seems too dangerous."

"Do we have a choice yet, contestants?"

Re: Legends of the Forbidden Gameshow

Shiori holds up an index card:

DOOR

Because they picked the box last time, and also the host phrased it to make it sound like a consolation prize. What kind of adventurer decides 'okay, good enough' and turns back before the dungeon is finished? But there's only so much room on a three-by-five index card, and writing takes time, so she doesn't explain.
