Doen turns to voice as and squees with delite at what she sees. "Oh my Ratataskr! You're like some sorta bird lady pirate! That is so awesome! You could sail the seven seas and fly the seven seas! Actually how many seas does your world have? Though if you count the whole mutliverse then that's like, I don't even know how many seas! What's becalmed mean? Oh, also do you know where I can find Professor Robyn, I need to register for my druid courses and the packet says she's the Druidism professor."
"Aye, there be many seas in the planes. An' I'm pretty good at navigatin' them," Rae says. "The nice person at the desk gave me a map, so let's see if we can find yer course." She opens up the map and looks for the druid buildings. When she locates them, she calculates her position, then points in the direction indicated. "Come about, and point yerself in that direction."

"Pizza." She looked doubtfully at the orc and his spatula, but also at the line of students impatiently waiting in like to be served, and eagerly devouring the flatbread concoctions he vendored. "I'll, maybe wait on that." She was sure it was good, but she really wasn't all that hungry. Anymore.
She did notice that many of the girls she'd been watching - actually most of the girls she'd been watching, were all looking in the same direction. So she looked that way too, trying to mimic the most common expression she'd noticed.
"Wow," She blurted. "He's so pretty." Guys weren't really her thing, but if she wanted to fit in she had to act like a girl. Also, the tall guy in the strange hat and the long coat really wasn't hard to look at.

Thank you so much! I'll be heading over there, but first I'm Doen! What's your name?" The squirrel girl excitedly extends her hand to the friendly pirate for a hand shake.

"Sure thing."
The odds of that happening, Doraad decided, were about likely as the supposed Dark Six deciding to spontaneously manifest in Sharn and pull a travelling circus show. He knew why he was here at Sigil Prep, and frankly speaking wouldn't have wanted to deal with any organization in it that didn't know how to properly use his skills anyway.
Instead, Doraad decided to focus on more useful endeavors - like trying to decipher the map of the campus. It wasn't a particularly complex setup, but becoming familiar with a campus was one of those things that would take some time. One couldn't be instantly amazing at everything after all. After a bit of walking and a bit of map reading, he found himself outside the tent, nearby the masked figure again. Well, they were a pretty good bard, and history indicated that the musicw..person probably knew more than anybody else what was going on right now. Doraad figured he might as well say hello.
"Hey, just wanted to say that I appreciated your performance earlier. And wanted to know if you'd figured anything about the lay of the land already."

Unit leads Makiharra to the tent where the drow girl hands her a registration packet. "That's an unusual major," she says, glancing at the top page.
One tent over, the high elf says, "Mialee Summerbreeze. I like your, y'know, accent. It's soooo unusual, f'real."
The Druid "buildings" turn out to be a small, somewhat out-of-place arboretum very near the festival area. In point of fact, when Rae and Doen enter it, it's quite more than simply a small clutch of trees and is actually a massive forested grove.
RC looks at Marty looking at the cowboy. "Want me to drive my car into him?"

Jennifer began to find herself drawn to where Odo's pizza was sizzling. Despite the orc's admittedly disgusting habits, there was something that she couldn't shake about the delicious smell. They had pizza in hell of course, but Damninos had more or less cornered the market on it over there, and there was something about this scent that enticed her even more than the often overly seasoned slices they delivered back home.
As she approached, she heard the Orc shout that it was only a copper piece. She frowned, she had gold on her, but it was all in single gold pieces, as she'd rarely had to deal in smaller currency. Still, she remembered that one time her Asmodean youth group had stopped at a roadside convenience store while on a field trip to Nessus to pay tribute to the Lord of the Ninth and she had made everyone groan after the imp behind the counter had to count out change for her can of Mountain Ichor.
This was precisely why her dad had entrusted her with It, wasn't it? Cautiously she approached the stand and asked for a slice, just one, with pepperoni. When the Orc slapped the slice down. Jennifer took It out. The sounds of the festival itself seemed to be drowned in its inky blackness. And as she presented the Tyrantcard- Black to the counter, a single copper piece, greened with age and emblazoned with the tortured countenance of a petty thief, dropped out of its confines and rolled onto the counter.

"Rae," the parrot lady pirate says. "Rae Quetzali. Good luck with yer classes. I'm off t' find me bunk in Azer Hall. I'll see ye about, bucko!"
