Marty was staring, along with all the rest of the girls. At least she hoped it was like all the rest of the girls. Only she couldn't look away to check if she was getting it right, because tearing her eyes off the strange but really, really pretty guy wouldn't be in character. She didn't think. Also, he really wasn't hard to look at at all.
"What?" She asked RC. "No!" She blurted, actually tearing her eyes off the cowboy to answer. "You can't... I mean... I know you could, but you can't... could you? No! Don't, uh do that! Mortals! If he fell on me I wouldn't know what to say!" She was blushing.

"Alright Rae! Thank you again and I'll see you later!" Doen waves excitedly as Rae departs for Azer Hall. Doen, not having looked at where she is staying yet, remains oblivious to the coincidence.
Having grown up on an acron farm the grove of trees is a familiar sight to the shifter, but that doesn't dim her enthusiasm one bit as she excitedly looks about the tree tops hoping to see some squirrels while walking through the groves to try and find a teacher here (since she doesn't really know what Professor Robyn looks like.)

Gods why is she still talking to me, I can feel the mist of her breath spreading microbes and saliva on me...
"...yes, I am sure we will see each other often. I must register for classes." Taking his leave, Unit searches for the Mystic registration table.

Frances would be looking over the map a bit more nodding, everything was pretty self explanatory in all honesty. He would soon sense Doraad walking up to him as he turned his head and lowered the map, listening to what he had to say..
"Ah, why thank you." He said nodding. "Music has been a passion of mine for..." He looked at his hands while looking like he was counting. "Hm...well, many years I suppose, more than I can keep count of." He said finishing up with a chuckle. "Anyways, about the lay of the land, I do believe I got the gist of everything, where everything is at and what not. Is there a particular spot you wish to locate?"

Doraad tried to parse if that first bit was a trick of memory or an actual statement of fact. There were supposed to be a couple of immortal students here, right? Or people like hi...s master who were sort of cheating in that regard and could claim an interest older than they were. Either way, this was more of a distraction than a useful line of thought and would probably be rude even if true.
"Just the Azer Dorm. It seems wisest to set up camp first and reflect on how different it all is before setting up a proper strategy."
A thought passes through Doraad's mind and he shakes his head.
"Unless you're used to all this or compelled to go searching for trouble on the first day."

"'Ere ya go," the orc says, handing Jennifer the slice. He drops the coin in a lockbox. As it happens, the pizza is exceptional. Also, the receipt has an address on it, indicating a location very near the campus, if you understand the street numbering convention correctly.
"Suit yourself," RC says. They give the cowboy a quick glance, shrugs, and picks up the car. "I'ma catch a coach to the hobby shop."
Doen looks around the forest, and there are, indeed, many squirrels about, dashing through the branches. In addition, there are small songbirds, and a yearling deer. And more out-of-place, a few signs pointing toward specific locations. It takes a short amount of time to find Professor Robyn's "office," a small clearing with a desk and a couple of chairs in it. "Well met. Were you looking for Robyn Kendrick?"
Unit is distraught to discover the registration tents were set up by name rather than major, and he's actually in the right line standing behind Makiharra. "Unit 001?" the drow asks. "Ohhhh... wow. Your father's on faculty, huh? You're a shoe-in for BBEG if you wanted to join."

If he had teeth, they would be clenched. "Yes, I am aware, thank you. Where are they? I have not seen their booth."

Frances would let out a chuckle as he nodded. "Ah, yes the dorm, I'm on my way there myself to have a look see of the place, if you like we could head up together.." He said and then thought. "Course I do like the atmosphere here, so many folks who are excited and joyful, it's enough to fill an empty void, at least for a while." He said in a joking manner.
"Anyways, name's Frances De'Shalas, a pleasure to meet you." He said nodding.

"It's Q'barran," says Leo, "Never rightly thought about the accent, though. It's how everybody talks on the frontier. I must say, you got an interestin' way a' speakin' yourself, Mialee. Whereabouts are you from?"
