Ma shoves her in a chair. "Eat. Talk about nonsense later." She slams the ladle on the table. "All of you!"

Lorenzo gives a soft sigh as the crisis of the nature of reality came to a close.
"Coming, Ma."
With practiced patience and care he ushers his friends to sit at the table and eat, for adventurers are rarely focused for long and can have the attention span of cats. That, and getting to anything on said table could easily end with a lost finger or hand, so he makes sure to serve each of his friends from the haunch that is left just there while his siblings are distracted squabbling about who gets the ribs of one of the bison. Also some greens since none of his siblings ever go for them, carefully nudging the more suspect foodstuffs onto a plate he sits at before offering the others their take of the rest.
"Right, only eat the Silver Flame seared Nat'it'uun roots if you want to end up temporarily connected to the Lizardfolk Dream. The mushrooms are the sort from the gumbo, they will put you there while awake until they wear off if you eat them together. Rest is safe for you. Got it?"
Once people agree, he lets each take what they want from what he has taken.

Lorenzo gives Frances a light elbow to the ribs as he leans in.
"Ma is a druid, Frances. One that cooks with the kinds of materials you normally find in rituals.  This stuff isn't normal, so...give some a shot?  Might be a surprise in there somewhere."

The meal is good, if somewhat outside the taste palette of most of the group. The entire dining experience is punctuated by massive lizardfolk tossing insults and bones, and laughing boisterously.

Maki will eat like a starving animal.
