Rae modulates her voice in a beatiful, sing-song way, trying to endear herself to this new person. "Please, Mr. van Felderrel, Captain Macaw and Quartermaster Sands be me friends, and without them, I cannot get to Krynn. Can't you be seein' yer way toward lettin' them go? Fer me?"
(natural 20 on Persuasion, total 26, but had to use friends)

"Aye, sir" Rae says. "I'll make sure Macaw hauls wind immediately."
When Macaw and Sands reach her, Rae says, "Ye have to be leaving immediately. Send help if ye can, but ye need to look out fer yer crew." She walks with Macaw toward the ship. "I used me voice in a way people truly don't like when th' influence fades away, so please be leavin' as soon as ye take in the moorin's if not sooner. I'll not be going with ye... I cannot abandon me new friend Mei Ling t' whatever is happenin'. Thank ye for all ye taught me. Now please go."

"I asked Mei to come here to help ye," Rae said, "an' now her port city an' her people are at risk. I cannot abandon her to whate'er von Felderrel be havin' in mind for them. An' I don't have long before he be resistin' me voice. I be needin' t' know ye an' the crew are safe."
She turns and walks back toward Mei Ling. "Are ye okay?" she asks her.
She turns back to von Felderrel. "I sent Cap'n Macaw away... But what are yer intentions wit' the people of this city? They did ye no harm, why can't ye just leave and let them be?"
