Right right, reboot and all that. Yeah, I'm a student now. Oh right, you don't know who I am. I'm Blue. I'm a pyrokineticist. Aw crap, Kel is here. Are you still annoying? I can't imagine you getting rewritten too much. Also, I wanna see the tiny elephant. It sounds cool. Also, that guy is very loud. The hamster's telepathy is rapidfire chatter in the minds of everyone nearby.

"I'm Marty." She replied in kind to the introduction. "And this is Mitzi, and apparently you already know Kel. And the guy with the elephant wash is Redmon. He said we should go to Oerth to a place called Valley of the Mages to find our elephant. So that's where we're going."
She dug through her pockets and found a small envelope of trail mix, and poured some into the palm of her hand to offer to the hamster. "You don't look hungry." She noted, referring to his plump physique."But have some if you want."

"Oh, yeah," Mitzi says. "I do recall there being a hamster in class. I thought you were somebody's pet."

Blue accepts the trail mix. I knew you'd have snacks! He chews as he turns back to address Mitzi. Nope, that was the last version. Student now.

"Well then, off to Jov's." And she headed that way. "Versions, reboots, what is that all about?" She asked as she tapped her heels to drop the wheels in her boots and skated off, going as slow as possible so everyone could keep up, and making many spins and loops for the same reason.

You know what, don't worry about it. Focusing on it too much probably ruins the joke. The hamster tries valiantly to cling onto Marty, but gives up and allows a spin to send him flying towards Mitzi, where he grabs a rather less exuberant perch. Is Jov's still in the same place?

"Same place it's always been," Kel says. He flits ahead toward the House o' Portals, deciding that Marty has declared a race.

"Maybe he'll get bored and leave before we get there." Marty suggested hopefully as she watched Kel flit off into the distance. "Though truthfully. he hasn't been that bad today." She added a moment later. "So far."
They got to Jov's at the speed of Mitzi, stopping only to buy a paper from the friendly neighborhood newsboy. Marty did a cursory job of scanning the news, ads, and classifieds as she rolled. She rolled up the paper and stuffed it in her pack when they reached their destination.

He always did have a short attention span.

"Well, he better focus," Mitzi said. "He's crucial to the plan. No Kel, no jackpot."
Jov bows as the group approaches. "Welcome, friends. Where may this humble host escort you this fine afternoon?"
