He gives some polite applause since it is rather good even if he doesn't understand.  After, though, he sighs and puts a hand on his chin to think.
"Okay, so this is going to be tricky."
After a bit, he looks back down to Chi-Chi, before being rather blunt.
"Lessee...know food?  Friend?"

Lorenzo looks confused at the statement as he looks to her, then to the poster as he tries to put it together because right now it sounds like she wants to eat friend.
"No, friends not food.  Um...Ah, I got it."
He holds up a hand, and gestures for her to follow. If she does, he heads to his room and, holding up hand to wait, goes in, rummages through his stuff, and pulls out some dried bird meat he had caught and been using as rations out there. Coming back out, he offers it to Chi-Chi, gesturing first to it.
"Food."
Then to himself.
"Friend."
He then gives her the dried bird meat while speaking.
"Friend not food.  Friends give food.  Friends help find food."

Lorenzo goes to grab more rations, maybe the greatsword too.
"Friends.  We plan to look around, go get food.  Want to join?"

"Not a clue!"
Lorenzo seems so happy when he says it, too.
"That said, should we ask the rest of the floor? I mean, it's about exploring together and getting to know everyone, right?  Or we could ask the RA.  Though I think Chi-Chi doesn't speak common..."
He gestures to the halfling at that, though he also gives her some more of the rations to her, including some of the dried fruit he'd packaged to eat at the same time.  Now he's just curious.

Frances would look away from the window and notice Lorenzo returned with a new girl as he gave a small bow. "Hello there, Frances De'Shalas at your service, and if I may, who am I speaking to?" He asked the woman looking at him.
