"I wonder if I should take anything?"  Marty pondered as she pulled her skates off the table and stood.  "Hair products or a change of underwear or something.  I mean who knows how long we'll be gone?"  She also decided not to try out for the cheer-leading thing.  Standing in front of lots of people and purposely drawing attention was exactly the opposite of what she wanted to do.

"There might be some crafting things at the student bookstore," Neil offers helpfully. (Gear does not seem to be around). "If not, you can pop into town. I'm sure there's a place that's got what you need. Maybe at the Mall of the Titans?"

Leo comes wandering in from the other thread, looking to finally deposit his various belongings in his room.  He tips his hat to the various folks and floating eyeball monsters as he passes, and heads to room 501.

Marty checked the lock on her door before leaving.  She didn't want anyone wandering into her room and falling through the hole in the floor.  She smiled at the pretty and remarkably nice-seeming tiefling girl as she turned.  "You know, I think I met the same cheerleader."  She mentioned.

"She handed me a flier and didn't even scowl or anything.  The guy I was talking with at the time even mentioned how nice she was being."  Well, RC had something close to that, she couldn't remember the exact words.

"Anyway.  you wanna go with us?  It'll be an experience!  Something you can tell stories about and totally exaggerate  the details."  She grinned.  "Besides, there's not much else to do."

She spotted a distinctive hat near the stairwell, and quickly ducked behind the bulk of the floating eye monster in the hall. 

"Really, you should come." She continued what she was saying as if she hadn't interrupted herself.
 

Jennifer thought it over. On one hand, spiders, on the other hand it would be rude to turn down an invitation. And Chi-chi didn't seem like much for conversation.

"Well, I suppose it is my duty to help oppose the minions of the abyss wherever they might be found, and it shouldn't be too bad if we stick together. Let me just go grab my mace and stuff."

Within a few moments she was armed and ready to go, her giddiness of having been invited practically overwhelming every instinct she had to avoid anything to do with spiders.
