Re: Life on the Fifth Floor

Thanks to Alecto, t'Nee has no trouble finding Azer hall.

Realizing that he doesn't appear to have a key, probably as a result of not having a room, he spies an open window on the 5th floor, and walks to beneath it.

Without further hesitation, he leaps up to just above the second floor window, and casually walks up the side of the building from there to peek in the open window. Luckily, the window appears to open into the lounge area, where a cat-person, hobgoblin, lizard-man, and halfling appear to be planning some sort of excursion.

Hi guys, he froaks, stepping up onto the windowsill.

If you give me a moment, I'll head to town with you, I suspect I'm going to be needing a fish tank, unless anyone has one in their rooms you wouldn't mind me crashing in, or if there's a fountain someplace nearby?

He leaps off the ledge, doing a mid-air somersault over the couch, sticks his landing in the hallway, and follows the sign to the stairwell. Opening the door to the stairs, he is blasted in the face with the putrid odor of collegiate musk, left to fester for perhaps centuries.

Smells like a rancid swamp in here. Perfect! All of the comforts of home!

He heads inside and examines the landing.

"Oh wow. I don't really know what Select Cream Soda is, but it must be delicious! I'm sure its not as good as acrons, but I would totally be willing to help you with this and try some! Plus making new and interesting friends is like a third of the reasonsI wanted to come here!"

Re: Life on the Fifth Floor

Given what happened during his last (as in most recent and final) job with the Couriers' Guild, Simon was briefly hesitant about joining his classmates. The worst stuff always happened when he had something to deliver. Maybe he should pass on this one. Stay in his room and try not to cause problems for his fellow PCs, who were bound to run into trouble, anyway.

Right. "Sure. I'll come along." With the prices the halfling was offering, they'd be able to afford a cleric. Or whatever the local equivalent of House Jorasco was.

Re: Life on the Fifth Floor

"Yay! Alright, that should be enough people. C'mon, everyone!" Hano walks to the stairs and indicates for the other five to follow her. Once they are down the stairs and out of the building she turns to the group.
"...Right then. The halfling said we had to go into "town", anyone know how to... er... get there? If so, lead the way. The soda should be sold at a general store... I think that's what they're called."

Re: Life on the Fifth Floor

509, 507... Shiori checks her registration papers again, just to make sure she has the right room number. Yep, there it is: 505. She unlocks the door.

"Hello?" she calls out, on hearing the sound of running water from inside the bathroom. Is that her roommate? There's stuff on one of the beds, so it looks like someone's started moving in here. She deposits her pack on the other, unclaimed bed.

Re: Life on the Fifth Floor

"Eh, six or seven people on a soda run sounds kinda excessive.  Run to find the Cursed Fountain of Kaa-Gorel, sure, but that's said to be an enchanted fountain guarded by remnants of those fool enough to drink of the corrupted waters in the depths of the jungles."
Instead, he pokes around where a new voice calls out, knocking politely on the door of 505 as he catches it before it closes.
"G'day, Lorenzo Thuya, from 509.  Mind if I come in?  Just trying to better know the floor."

Re: Life on the Fifth Floor

Ah and there's his roommate. Frances would say "Hello, sorry, give me a few minutes to finish up." He called. He would finish getting the dirt form his bones and would use a towel to thoroughly dry off before putting on his full garb again, mask going back on, it was both cloth and ceramic, and putting the hood over his mask as he stepped out of the bathroom, looking like a very thin person now instead of a skeleton.

"Greetings, the name's Frances De'Shalas." He said, showing that he was indeed registered into this room on his paper as the door knocked. "Hm?" He would open the door for Lorenzo and greeted him as he did with Inoue.

Re: Life on the Fifth Floor

That... is not a girl's voice. Shiori blinks. "Um. Hello. Inoue Shiori. Sorry, this is room 505, right?" She checks her paperwork again. Checks the number on the door. "So... you are my roommate? But you're a boy. Is that usual here?"

(Lorenzo is impolitely forgotten in her confusion.)
