"That was the idea so far. Should be able to get a Hraa and a tsah noise out of her, may be close enough. If not, well, we figure that out as we go."

"She be speakin' to me," Rae says. "I be wonderin' if she be able to say 'Huzzah' in her own language, an' if that be enough t' count. Magic bein' what magic be 'n' all."
She looks back to the queen. "Do you remember the name of the wizard that anointed you the queen? Can you say his name?"

"Name? Is Stupid Beard Man?" She looks around. "Is another fat bird here?"

"His name is Huzzah," Rae says. "Can you say that? I can help you find another fat bird, if you like. Can you say Huzzah?"

The dinosaur makes a sound something akin to hacking up phlegm.
Meanwhile, some crocodile men in turtleneck sweaters come tromping out of the woods. "We're here to kidnap the Queen. Anybody seen 'er?"

Rae nods. "Aye, maties. She be a 'uman, about so high," she holds her hand up about 5'. "She be dressed like a popinjay at carnival. She be goin' toward the lake with a pack o' ladies in waitin' to go f'r a swim. If ye hurry, ye can probably catch up t' her."
25 persuasion. Or as I said, "Lying like a rug"

Lorenzo sighs and just tries to avoid eye contact with the crocs because this would be a bad spot to start that.

The crocs nod, and rush off in the direction Rae indicated.
One of them rushes back and eyes Lorenzo cautiously. "Heeeeeey..." His eyes narrow and he snorts. "Where'd you get that hat?"
Offline
"It was Pa's before he died. He made it himself."
That gets a stern gaze from Lorenzo, since if this git wanted to start something, like Dolurrh was he backing down.

Rae turns back to the Queen. "We be goin' over our huntin' commands, now, savvy?" she asks in common, then speaking so the queen can understand, she says, "When you want to communicate with your pack mates, what kind of sounds do you use. Can you say," she makes bird sounds like the tropical birds of Ixalan. "hu-AAH, hu-AAH!" or cooing like an owl or pigeon, "Hoooo. Hoooo."
