Jennifer was getting worried. She would have preferred to deal with the situation by just grabbing the cloak without worrying about hurting the other team, but that was starting to seem untenable. At the very least she was going to have to help hold them off. She did hope that they had their student health insurance filled out though.

She strode forward closer to the rest of them, starting to pray, this time in the proper infernal rites.

"Oh Lord Asmodeus, foundation of order, lord of the ninth, may your gaze turn upon those pitiable souls that dare to oppose I your diligent slave. Let them feel the lick of the inferno, so they may bear witness to your wrath and prostrate themselves to your might. Nos Nihil Ante Vos. Tanta Maiestas Tua." 

A pulse of crimson fire, that seemed to draw the shadows of the room into it rather than drive them away as most fire would erupted from Jennifer and traveled outward. As it traveled, Jennifer quickly added an addendum to her prayer in common.

"Oh, and, Lord Asmodeus? Please don't hurt them too much. The pitiable souls are still my friends and peers and I don't want them to suffer too much. Thank you. Nos Nihil Ante Vos."

There was a slight hesitation in the pulse of fire's journey, but as it continued, it passed through her teammates harmlessly, though it was noticeably quite hot. The other team, notably those near the gunpowder cloud... were not so fortunate.

((Channel Divinity: Glory of Nessus (hellfire version of Radiance of the Dawn.) Magical Darkness within 30 feet of Jennifer is dispelled, and any hostile enemies in that radius make a constitution saving throw. (DC 13) Failure means they take 2d10+2 fire damage, success halves the damage. Your discretion on what happens to the gunpowder cloud as a result of all this fire going around.)

Lorenzo coughed as the smoke and dust billows by, but through his swimming eyelids manages to see that they are working with a fridge sized forcefield.  Nodding slowly, he looks to anyone he can see, accidentally bellowing as his ears ring.
"Unit, might be tied to the mannequin!  Try lifting and smashing the mannequin!  Sarah, aim for the ground around the field!  Might not have floor.  Creig, C'MERE!"
He gives a full on roar as he rushes Creig, hand reaching out to lift the other person by the face.  However, he expects that one dodged.  The hand aiming for his chest, not so much.

He hauls Creig close in as he growls loudly, likely leaving him dangling above the ground.
"GOT THREE THEORIES ON HOW THIS WORKS, CREIG, AND YOU'RE ONE OF THEM!  BEAT YOUR TEAM, A SWITCH, OR A TRICK TO IT!  BEST HOPE IT'S ONE OF THE OTHERS!"

Jennifer suddenly thought of something, watching Lorenzo grapple Creig.

"Lorenzo, his hat! Get his hat!"

Sarah takes aim at Chi Chi and says, voice a level and threatening tone, "Don't you move a muscle. If you know anything about how this works, tell me, or I'll blow you into so fine a paste that the Nurse is gonna have to use True Resurrection to get you back."
