"Aviator caps?  Is that what they're called?"  She made a note to remember.  "And no problem.  I'm sure someone on this floor could craft something like that.  Or conjure it or something.  Excuse me."  She asked as she made her way toward the person loudly calling her name.

"Wow."  She told Maki.  "That was fast."  She took the armor back gratefully.  She hadn't had it that long, but she already felt attached.  She then asked.  "Hey.  Can you make a tiny aviator cap that would fit a hamster?  Maybe have the goggles do something cool like glow in the dark or something?"

"Talk to RC.  I think they're working on a local-controlled remote control car for Blue.  Oh, and he needs a helmet.  One of those leather helmets with a place to rest goggles on the forehead, like Tinya wears some tijmes."

"That's just wrong."  Marty replied to Blue.

"You're sure?"  She asked, keeping a respectful distance between herself and the warforged, but her tone hinted at concern.  "Machines seize up in the cold.  Metal gets brittle and wood splits from internal moisture."  She knew - after reading a Cannith company pamphlet - that most warforged had wooden components.  She didn't see any wooden parts on this Unit, but that didn't mean he didn't have any.

Marty hip-bumps the soda machine, causing it to divulge a random can.  "No coffee, but how about a soda?"  She asked, offering the can to Maki.  "And Roxy... uh, that would be Roxanne d'Cannith makes the phones.  I think you can buy them in the Mall of the Titans now, but they're way pricey."  She shrugs.  "She's an artificer.  I'm sure you two would get along.  Ask Leo about her, she's from his home world."

She looked to Shiori, and smirked.  "I..."  she began to correct, but then said.   "...you know, go with that.  Handbaskets are a traditional mode of transport in rabbit culture.  Hamster culture too.  Right Blue?"

Marty looked from Mora to Maki and back to Mora.  "Can you put runners under it so we can ride it like a sled? And were can we find a slope in Sigil to ride it down?"

"Let me go change."  Marty rolled away, and shortly returned apparently wearing the same jeans but a different shirt, and now holding a set of pristine studded leather armor in a neatly folded bundle.

"Here ya go."  She handed the armor to Maki.  "How long will it take?"  She asked.  She felt almost naked without the magical protection even though she hadn't had it that long.

She whips out her new aPhone, a gift from her new... uh... friend Roxy.  "I can send you the money via PayBuddy."  She offered.  "Or I can get the cash this afternoon."

She laughed at Mora's joke. "Planning a trip to Hell?" She asked. "I mean... wouldn't a portal work better than a handbasket for that?" She then frowned pensively. "Though according to the homoeopathic principle of magic, a handbasket that opens into a portal to Hell when you lift the lid is probably a thing."

"Skiing?"  Marty asked.  "Everyone's invited? Jenn, you are the most awesome.  Where were you thinking of going?"

Her outfit of a dark tanktop and snug jeans turned into a pastel pink snowbunny suit with yellow trim.  But she frowned and immediately switched it back.  "I'll have to get real warm clothes though.  The glamor on this outfit doesn't actually make it any warmer no matter how much padding it seems to have."

She looked to Maki when the woman mentioned making her outfit comfortable. "Can you do that my outfit?" She asked.

"Gesundheit!"  Marty quipped as she rolled into the lounge.

Then she noticed the crowd and spun into a halt before kick-tapping her boots to retract the wheels.  "Oh wow.  Everyone's here.  And Mora!"  She met Mora at cheer tryouts, but things had been pretty chaotic there, plus it happened in a thread she barely remembered..

"Hi Mora!  Slumming in the dorms?"  She asked.  "Hi everyone!"  She waved at everyone else.  She didn't look or wave any extra at Leo.  Really, she didn't.  He got just as much wave as anyone else.  Plus, she was kinda embarrassed at what happened in Sharn.

Not having much experience as a girl, or much experience at all in certain matters, she had no idea someone like Roxy could... well... she learned something.  But she was still embarrassed.

Marty hung back before entering, checking out the room and especially the floors. Though there might be holes in the walls for surveillance or shooting darts or something too.  They were up pretty high here, and that meant a secret trap door could lead to a really long fall.  She gripped Leo's arm and pulled him back before he could enter, and whispered to him loud enough that the nearby Deneith could hear if they paid attention..

"If these people are spies, they might have spy gadgets like rooms with false floors for unwanted guests."  It was a crazy idea, but with spies paranoid crazy helped with survival.

But then, they were here to solve a mystery, so she'd enter after her quick inspection, Though she made sure to stay near to a wall and looked for possible safe perches for things to grab like bell cords or tapestries.
