Rusty stares at the mark on Unit's head and after a long pause says, "Dad?"

"I am the first born son of the Lord of Blades. Meaning it would be catastrophically unwise for someone to steal from me, but quite a good idea to be on my good side. So this food will get to it's destination completely intact, and as a result, there will be regular employment and food for your...friends, when they need it. I hope we understand each other."

Frances would nod, alright this was looking good and he would have said the lemons as he would go check to make sure it was on the list. "Just checking to see if there was some lemons on the list." He said to the shopkeeper. After a few seconds of talking and confirming, he would go to the group going to the exotic pets and butcher and said "Alright, I think I'll join you on that trip." He said.

Lorenzo frowns as Unit tries to throw his weight around so dramatically.
"...Oi, chill a bit, mate. You sure he understands, Unit? Kid might be older than the Mournlands. Or Khyber, maybe some Warforged found a way here during the War, might be an entire Forge out there for all we know. Seems like the sorta place to have weirder after all."

"Hey! Lets all escort our produce back to the dorm, and then swing back to town for the pet and pet cutlets."

Rae nods. "Aye, let's be gettin' all of this back an' in th' hold before we do more plunderin'."

Rusty nods. "Oh, I never met any Lord of Blades, sir. But I make it a policy not to steal from people sharper than myself. Thank you for the advice."
The group make their way back to the dorm. As they travel, the kids sing a jaunty travel song none of them seem to know the words to. Chi-Chi holds onto the back of the cart, staring carefully at her selection of meats and quickly looking back and forth to see if anyone else has eyes on them.

Rae sighs at the singing, then says, "All right, me 'earties, if ye're gonna sing, ye need to sing a proper shanty. Listen 'ere.
"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me
We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me
We extort, we pilfer, we filch, and sack
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho
Maraud and embezzle, and even high-jack
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho...."
The song is ...awkward... to be singing to children... even these street urchins, but one cannot deny that Rae's voice is beatific and melodic singing it.
there's more verses to this thing if no one thinks to stop her

Frances would be listening to the tune as he would sing along as well, keeping up with Rae if she repeated the song over again.

Even Jennifer couldn’t help but be charmed as she clapped at the children’s antics. With her own upbringing being so distinctly different, the idea of a group of children together free from such restrictions had a romantic quality about it. Like something out of an old Hannover Hellhound cartoon.
That train actually brought to mind another thought. “Do you think Neil or someone in the dorm has a scry pool? I brought a whole bunch of Hannover Hellhound cartoons we could watch, make the cookout a movie night on top of it.”
