Jennifer eagerly demonstrated with a small puff of crimson fire from her hand “I’m a loyal devotee of Lord Asmodeus, so I can convince him to help us bring the black iron fist of order upon the lawless ruins we’re heading to, as well as smite our foes with flames from the deepest pits of Nessus.”

“Oh that sounds lovely! I have an aunt who moved to Nessus, she claims the weather is just the best for pyromancy. What’s it like to have a helpful deity? Wastri mostly just tells me I’m not racist enough. I’m working on it, can you tell?”

“Neat! Um, are Ninjas Rogues or Monks in this edition? Even going to the best school in our swamp, we only had one class period on Kara Tur in third grade.”

Sarah nods and says, "I've got the Opus," she gestures to the metal tube slung over her shoulder, "And some military training. That should be enough."

Creig sighs. "The more they blab about it, the more I realize we gotta do what the lizard said and form a rival party to grab the loot out from under 'em." He bangs on a door. "Hey! Chi-Chi! You want to join our evil party?"
The halfling girl opens the door and stares at him.
"Eat?" Creig gestures. "Kill swamp monsters, steal treasure from idiots?"
Chi-Chi shrugs and goes rummaging in the closet.

Lorenzo claps Creig on the shoulder.
"That's the spirit. Good luck not getting lost and eaten, by the way."
Looking to Chi Chi, he offers another snake jerky ration and a smile, before waving to the others to head out with him.

"Both, according to my mother, I'm double-majoring. I'm not sure how other people do it." Shiori shrugs. "They won't let me start both curriculums during my first quarter, though, so for now I'm officially a Rogue sitting in on some introductory Monk classes."

"You're welcome to read my notes from any Monk classes that conflict with your Rogue classes this semester. I'm still learning Written-Common though, so they may be messy. I'm hoping that backflip-kicking Bullywugs in the face counts as credit towards one of my Martial Arts labs -- if so I've already got a head start!"
t'Nee looks at Unit again.
"What about you, Mr. Big "Good" Metal Thing Man?"

Sarah looks unhappy as she eyes Chi Chi and Creig suspiciously and says, "Just because you guys live in the same hall doesn't mean I'll miss if you get in our way," then turns and heads out with Lorenzo.
