"Very good," Jov says, counting the gold. He gestures to a purple, completely circular door that didn't seem to be there moments before. He places a small round stone in Lorenzo's palm. "Keep this with you; the portal won't open without it."

(Rhyvurg, how much is Unit putting forward? Also, Ravian, how about two gold from Jenn?)
Lorenzo nods, holding it tight in his palm.
"Understood. Think I know just the place to keep it."
Admittedly, that place would be either inside Unit or in his gullet. Kept plenty of small valuable things there in the past, after all. But he'd be sure to clean it after. With that, he opens the door.

"Any Bullywugs in Xen'Drik these days, Jov? The infestation seems to be spreading to all sorts of unlikely planes." t'Nee asks the Arcane.
With the payment resolved and the portal open, t'Nee hops through with his spear at the ready, in case there are.

"Oh, I'm sure there are bullywugs about," Jov says. "Have a pleasant excursion."
The portal opens into a massive dirt road, lined with massive buildings, the doors' handles at least as large as Lorenzo, and ten feet or more outside his reach, although much of the buildings lie in ruins.
The road leads out into the thick, damp jungle.

"Well then..."
Lorenzo turns and gestures to the group, wide, almost goofy grin on his face.
"Welcome to Wahl'Merht!"
After which, he takes his money pouch, puts the portal key in, and carefully loops it so the strap is around his tongue and the pouch underneath, mouth open wide enough for someone to put their entire arm in for a brief moment.
"And now the key is safe too."

Sarah gives Lorenzo a look as he swallows the key and says, "Alright then..." She looks at the doors and buildings, then says, mostly to herself, "I feel like like a rat in a maze already..."

Jennifer poked about the corridors "I don't know, there's sky at least, much better than Menzoberranzen, kind of reminds me of the Cyclopean ruins of Maladomini, except without the swarms of biting flies and stagnant pools of ichor, this place is downright pleasant."
She looks up at one of the nearest intact building's doors. "So how do we get these open?"

t’Nee hops onto Lorenzo’s head from the ground and hops again from there up onto the side of one of the buildings, which he continues to climb surprisingly rapidly.
Once at the top, he scans his field of vision, though he doesn’t have a clear idea what he’s looking for, other than signs of possible bullywug infestation and any possible entrances into the building he’s climbed.
((Lorenzo is likely familiar with making Grung poison saves by now))

Sarah shrugs and says, "I suppose compared to actual hell it's nice. That's not a big stick to measure by though..."

"Oi, watch the hat! It was Pa's hat."
Lorenzo nods at Jenn's response, looking to t'Nee.
"In this case, two, three options. One, t'Nee looks for any major cracks and climb up behind. Two, we find a window and climb in that way - probably easier to move than the doors. Or three, we make a pyramid of people with Sarah, you, and Shiori standing on my shoulders and we see if we can't open it up if we want to be silly, loop a rope around the handle with t'Nee's help otherwise. Or we begin exploring the rest of town first, with the more destitute ones first. Might have a giant broom handle or cane we could use for good grip, not to mention all the relics of the Giant Empire that could be here that museums would kill to get their hands on..."
He practically begins rubbing his hands together at the thought of all the potentially untapped items in the area. How the old Empire lived, how things rose, how they were at the decline...
