Rae bends over from her spot on the couch and picks up the vehicle. "Oy, RC," she calls out. "Yer pet be gettin' away. Ye might need an anchor!"

Marty rolls through the hall and sees Rae in the lounge as she spins to a stop at the soda machine.  "Barley's."  She reads from the panel displaying choices.  She feeds the thing a couple coins and pushes the button, ready to dodge if need be, but hoping for an uneventful delivery.

"Hey Rae!"  She calls as she awaits the outcome of her purchase.  "Did you hear about the robbery at Odo's?"  She asked.

Before the Siren could answer she heard a distinct voice from around the corner.  She didn't know who he was with, but it was sure to be someone female.  And pretty.  And she didn't much like the way he said inspirin'.

Rae greets Marty with a smile, "Ahoy, Marty!" She says.  She stands and walks next to her, "How be yer day today?"

She hears Leo and Tinya exit Leo's room, and peeks into the hall.  "Ahoy!  Oy,let me be seein'!". She looks at the canvas Tinya shows her and marvels. "Sink me! This be beautiful! Ye be certainly yalentad, matey," she says to Leo.  "Marty! Look at this paintin' Leo made of me friend, Tinya!"

These are our allies bitey gaurd these well they are trustworthy. So whats this about a new artificer. As maki prepares to begin a craft spree to begin her whipsword

"My day be well, thank you.  And your own?"  Marty replied to the greeting, though her attention was mostly focused on her internal dialog.  Why did she care who or how Leo called inspiring?  Did she even want to know?  Why would she want to know?  And just what did inspiring mean anyway?  What did she inspire in the handsome cowboy?  And would he ever say something like that to her?  Mortal!  What if he said something like that to her?  The thought was horrifying.

"Painting?"  She barely caught what the pirate was saying.  "What painting?  And who's Tinya?"  Another flighty slut probably.  That seemed to be Leo's type.

"Toothy Bite-bite."  She grabbed the distraction with more gusto than it deserved, after all it was a distraction away from thoughts she didn't want to have, and besides she'd already met the drake at Max's.  "That's what you went with for a name?"  She guessed it was appropriate.  "How did he like the pork chop?"  She asked, noting that Maki was only carrying one now.

She couldn't help but smile at the antics of the cat-girl and RC's car.  And she winced when Hano ran into the couch, relieved to see her rebound with catlike resiliancy.  "Hi Hano."  She greeted.  "I see that you met RC."  She waved at the person controlling the car.  "Hi RC.

"Gear has that part of the paper." She told Maki when asked about the artificer. "Some press release an Artificer named Roxanne is holding tomorrow night." She shrugged.

"Also, there's this thing about an amusement park, and someone broke into Odo's pizza." She waved her soda-holding hand at her paper-holding hand. "Way more news than the paper back home. The Threshold paper only published once a week,and even then there was nothing interesting."
