Marty nodded in tentative agreement as Rae whispered. "Could be, or you know what? You mentioned a stone golem earlier, Did you see the gargoyles outside? I wonder if one of them got drunk and flew through the window, and only took the till to divert attention? It'd certainly be worth comparing our gravel to the stone they're carved from.
"Speaking of which..." She approaches Francis and asks to see the gravel again. "Can I see that gravel you found?" She asked. She's looking to see if it looks smooth and rounded like river gravel, or if it appears to be broken off something.
@Marty Martinson: 1d20+5 investigate gravel = (11)+5 = 16

"Yes, that's young Buckworth," the cleric says, nodding.

"Sounds like plan." Marty agrees to Rae's proposal. "We'll follow you up if we can."
"Really?" She asked the cleric. "Bucky was asking about your religion?" The halfling was from Karameikos. Was he unaware of the problems vampires had caused there? "I find that interesting."
She noted the information for later, but for the moment asked. "Can we go up on the roof and investigate the area the crash seemed to come from?" It was all good and well for Rae to fly up there, but if a problem developed she'd be on her own.

Rae was taken aback by the revelation that Bucky was visiting the vampire church, but Marty gave her an excuse to get out of there and still be a help. She steps outside and flies up to the gargoyle level of the architecture. If she can land and look over the gargoyles, she does. If not, she tries to maintain her flight around the gargoyle and look.
(I assume the DC will be different depending on if she can land or not) rolled a 17

Frances would look over to Marty and hand over a piece of the gravel he found from earlier. "Here you go, hopefully we can find something out, on both of these cases." He said.

The cleric frowns, then nods. "I'll lead you," he says, guiding the non-flying people to the stairs.
Rae finds a carved gargoyle on each corner of the church, carved separately from the ledge they rest on, but bolted in place. As she checks each one, she finds the one on the rear right corner has some damage to the wing.

Rae notices the damage to the wing, then puts her hand gently on the gargoyles head. "Oy, matey. Ye be in there? Ye be havin' cravin's for pizza? Or just the booty?"
Offline
Once they reached the roof, Marty would hand the largest chip of gravel to Rae. "Can you match that to the damage?"
Offline
"Aye," Rae says, retrieving the piece from Marty. "Oy, I be havin' the missing piece to yer wing." She holds it to the gap in the wing to see if it fits.
