Well, that complicated matters. Simon raises an eyebrow at the music. Also, Leo. "Did you do that?"

"Oy, of course, Guv'nor, right this way," Rae says grabbing some menus from the counter and wiggling her ass as she walks up to the three. She thinks this might buy time for Leo and Marty to plan.
She leads them to a table and lays manus at each seat. "Our specials today be calzones, and th' Cormyr Cola be of a fine vintage."

"I did not play an invisible trumpet, no," says Leo, "be ready to back the Orc up if things get rough."

"But you could if you had one!" Marty blurted, and then blushed. "I mean, it's not hard to blow... I mean..." She shut up and watched the goblin.

"Yes, I thank you," the rotund goblin mumbles, then looks at the menu. "I would also extend thanks to your establishment for your kind invitation, especially in light of your unfortunate burglary."
"They don't got chicken wings," one of the bugbears says.
"Shut up, and be gracious for the hospitality."
"Leomund's Tiny Pizza Hut got chicken wings."

"Aye," Rae said. "Can I be gettin' ye started with a beverage?"

"I would like just a simple glass of water, please. And a slice of lemon, for flavor."
"Beer," one bugbear says.
"Cormyr Cola," the other replies. "Diet."
"Diet?"
"Armor's been kinda tight lately."
Meanwhile, the orc glares at them from the counter.

"Comin' right up, Guv'nor," Rae says. She sashays back to the counter like someone who has no idea how to walk sexily, trying to walk sexily. She walks up to the counter and tells the orc the order. She looks back and winks at one of the bugbears.

Leo leans against the counter while keeping his eyes on the Don.
"Nice thinkin', Rae," he says, "you keep 'em pacified, we'll step in if we're needed. Less'un ya want us to chuck 'em out, sir." He looks to the orc.

Marty watched Rae with envy. Wow! That was bold, and awesome. She wished she could do that. And even Leo was impressed. Everyone would have been impressed with her if she'd thought to play the waitress. She glanced aside at Leo. Oh well, lost opportunity.
Also, the goblin was playing it pretty smooth so far, only mentioning the break-in once. She waited to see how things played out.
