Re: Rush Week

Shiori follows as directed, practically vibrating with excitement. She made a good impression! Now she just has to manage not to botch the actual tryouts. She watched the other girls before, she knows what to expect... of course, people said they weren't very good, but at least she knows what not to do? Probably? No stop being nervous this is not the time.

"Ready!"

Re: Rush Week

Nodding, Lorenzo nods and moves on, getting to wrestling a couple seconds after t'Nee does.
"Ah, hey, t'Nee.  Trying out too?"

Re: Rush Week

t'Nee grins up at Lorenzo, "Hey Big L! Yeah, I guess I figured that it might help me learn how to use my....umm...natural advantage better in combat!"

Re: Rush Week

That gets a chuckle from Lorenzo.
"You know most of these guys are martials and least likely to get affected, right?"

"Sure, but that only makes it more effective training!"

Re: Rush Week

Lorenzo gives his small companion a light pat on the shoulder.
"At least in how to handle yourself if it doesn't take."
which it doesn't seem to as Lorenzo moves forward, raising a hand in greeting to the coach.
"G'day, mate, this is where to sign up for wrestling, I take it?"

Re: Rush Week

Jennifer arrived at the scene, trying to look casually interested in the other booths, but mostly just making a beeline for BBEG's booth. Once she arrived there she asked those at the booth. "Uh, hi, my name is Jennifer Chamo. Um I heard this was the place for prospective villains to join... I'm a villain, or my dad is, well he's a duke... er a duke of Hell, does that count or...?"

Re: Rush Week

"Aye, of course," Trefor says, pointing to the others at the table: a dashing human with an eyepatch and some sort of ape-person with flaps of skin similar to a cape connecting his arms to his sides. "This be Three-Eyed Jack, and Charlie."

"Nice to see a strapping fella like yourself," the Coach says, slapping Lorenzo on the shoulder. "An' your also here," he acknowledges t'Nee. "Got any experience in wrestlin', son?"

Taertha walks Shiori through the steps, then says, "And now up to tempo."
"Hold up," Maddie interrupts. "The girl's obviously a ninja. She's not going to have trouble with a sideline routine. I want to see the competition steps." She stands beside the medusa and snaps her fingers; a couple of the other uniformed cheerleaders stand in line beside her, and they do a rather impressive routine that's going to take a rather handsome Acrobatics check to emulate. She then dismisses the green-haired girl and tilts her head to Shiori. "Think you can fill in for Willow there?"

Sarah hears an explosion nearby, and from the fact that it only seems to be freshmen reacting to it, this isn't even that strange an occurrence. The source of the sound is a smoking hole near a booth where four particularly long-nosed goblins are setting up an array of blunderbusses and smokepowder pistols. From another direction, Dora do'Urden is running up. "This is not a vendor day, Kreeba! This is for student organizations!"
"Students be like dis thing, crazy girl. It blows da hole real good."

Rodney Bargle, the president of BBEG,'s eye widen. "Duke of Hell? Gentlemen," he says to the giant and lady next to him, the lady coming very close to hitting him with her book, "we may have struck gold."

Re: Rush Week

Rae nods to the others.  " Hello, Jack. Charlie.  Are you some kind of goblin?  And can you fly with those or glide?"

Re: Rush Week

Sarah's eyes widen when she sees the black powder equpiment, though her excitement is tempered by the fact that it's run by goblins. She eventually says to Dora, "I guess you're in charge here?"
