"hi, Trivia," Rae says, "I'm Rae Quetzali, of Ixalan. Adventuring sounds like fun. I just heard about something called Spelljamming, it's like sailing ships, but in the stars. What sort of adventuring are you planning?"
Offline
"Right," Trivia says, more harried than ever with the crowd around the table, rapidly rearranging the flyers every time one is picked up. "We've got several excursions planned --not that one! Ahh... Um, with big plans for the Barrier Peaks some point this semester. We don't have any spelljammer activities planned at the moment, but... I mean, you can't really sail into Sigil."
"No problem," Dora tells Sarah as she leaves, then looks at Kreeba as he and his cohorts begin shooting at a nearby tree. "I better get Maddie..."

Frances would notice this and would help arrange the flyers to their proper stacks. "There ya go." he said.

t'Nee easily hops over Lorenzo's feint, only to feel the lizardman's fingers close around his tiny waist mid-air. He swiftly shifts his balance hard, rolling over Lorenzo's arm as he tries to bring it back to his body to pin t'Nee.
He then swings up around Lorenzo's neck and holds onto the lizardman's head with all of his puny might, but fails to bring the man to the ground.
((23 acrobatics beats Lorenzo's 19 grapple, and my own grapple was a 21. Follow up shove prone utterly failed (rolled a 4). Lorenzo should make 1 more DC12 CON save to avoid being Poisoned for 1 minute.))

Lorenzo feels a bit of torpor as t'Nee grabs him by the neck, and grunts, though he grins.
"You think you got what it takes to pin me like that? All your poison did was mellow me out a bit. Lemme show you why you messed up-"
He then leaps up and leans back, trying to land on his back with t'Nee stuck under his bulk.

Rae shrugs at Trivia's dismissal of Spelljamming. " Well, I mean, you must have portals to port cities and docks. It's not like we have to board a ship in Sigil is it?"
Rae takes a YKoMD flier and looks at it, but sensing the tenseness in Trivia watching her, she folds it neatly and sticks it in her pocket, with the ARRR flier, rather than risk putting it back.
"And the whole point is, we don't have a ship, so we may have to go to a port city to liberate one, anyway."

Gareebo watches the wrestling match with interest. "The frog poison gimmick would be illegal, if you wasn't a frog. I'm gonna have to see what the PCAA guide says about that."
Trivia tenses up a bit as Frances straightens the flyers, and immediately re-straightens them, smiling awkwardly but politely at him as she does. "Well, no, I didn't mean to imply there was anything inherently wrong with Spelljamming excursions, just that we don't have one planned."
"You should talk to Gear," RC suggests, walking by. "She's from the Rock of Bral."

Rae looks at RC. "What? Why? What does that mean?"

There was a small air of confusion on Frances, but he wasn't going to question it. He figured she was more or less just wanting to be the one to keep her stuff straightened out.

"I mean, I'm not an expert," RC says, "but there's ports out in whachacall Wildspace, and one of the famous ones is the Rock of Bral. From what she says, it's like a city just on a big rock... floating. Out there. And ships stop there for supplies and booze and whatever."
