Rae takes off into the sky heading back toward Azer when she looks down and sees the dog-like student that Leo had been talking to in the park.  He was busy constructing something elaborate. Next to him we're wooden crates emblazoned "ACME", and packing material and tools we're strewn about.  Rae felt bad about not even finding out the student's name, so she landed by him.  Distracted by his project, he didn't even look up, so Rae cleared her throat and said, "Ahoy!" loudly and cheerfully.

"I think they're still doin' tryouts over that way," Leo points as Maki goes by swearing, "saw Shiori head that way too."

Hano would go to check out the festival shortly after Maki went into her room. She would mostly have been wandering around staring at various things, maybe pick up the occasional pamphlet. When Maki runs by she yells in confusion "Forgot what?" and starts chasing after Maki. "I wanna come too!"

"Whoa, okay, calm it down. One thing at a time, eh?" Hano reassures her. "C'mon, we'll go to "cheer practice" first." She motions for Maki to start running again. "Lead the way!"

Klank shakes his head. "Don't work like that. But let's see what you got. Go out there an' catch a few balls. REGDAR! Toss this fella some balls."

Maki and Hano arrive at cheer practice as a dryad cheerleader is showing Shiori some fairly complicated dance moves. Elsewhere, a medusa is teaching some other girls a much less complex one.

The corners of the gnoll's mouth slowly curl into a close-mouthed smile. Slowly and dramatically, he pours something out of a box labeled "Birdseed" onto a plate on the ground, then immediately starts sawing through a rope tied to a sawhorse.
