He gives another chuckle.
"Might if they catch the ball in transit. But right then."
He jogs out to try catching a few balls while running.  The second one might be with Krusk as interference.

The gnoll stops sawing for a moment, bows in apology, and holds up a sign that says, "Hi. Acme G. Noll at your service." Then he promptly begins sawing again.

"Newcomers," Maddie says to the group assembling. "Pay attention to what the current group is doing. As soon as we're done with this batch, you're up." She glances at Maki, Hano, and t'Nee, then leans over to the woman in the Coach track suit. "Is the frog a girl?"
"Strictly speaking, Maddie, the school doesn't allow discrimination based on..."
"Hey, frog! Are you a girl?"

Lorenzo catches the first pass handily, but after going long for the second, he crashes into Acme Noll's rope, and the gnoll himself. Acme lands in a pile of seed, the rope hurls up into the air, and an anvil falls on the up-tilted end of a nearby board, forcing that part down, and hurling a large rock into the air, where it hits the edge of a long slide. This causes a bowling ball to roll down it, then hurl off the edge and into Acme's face. He holds up a sign that says "Ouch," then collapses.

t'Nee looks slightly startled, but unoffended, and responds, "Umm, what? I'm a frog."

"Oh, hi T'nee!" Hano responds cheerfully. Weeell, I just got here with Maki, but it looks like people do a lot of flips and jumps and stuff! I remember you hopping all around, shouldn't be a challenge for you, eh?" She gives T'nee a friendly pat on the head.

edit: Shortly after Hano pats T'Nee, she feels woozy. "Wh-whoa..." (failed save, poisoned for one minute)

Frances would have seen Maki rushing over to the cheering practice and decided to go over to see how well she did and would see if she had any plans for later.
