t'Nee looks utterly disheartened. 

"Maki, don't say that! Frogs need pats too! Just...be careful is all. Or just avoid it in tense situations. Plus Hano, you get another save at the end of each of your turns, and just dulls your reflexes a bit.  I'm sorry! I can't help it!" He looks down at his feet and looks like he's trying not to cry. 

He tries to change the topic. "Um, thanks for making that spear, Maki. I found a magic spear on a bullywug on a gameshow on a giant rube tube on an adventure on Eberron yesterday, maybe we can trade and you can study how it works? I'd far rather have a new spear you built than one touched by a fucking asshole*" 

*: Maki learns that "asshole" is, out of sheer coincidence, the Grung word for "bullywug."

Klank snaps (clangs?) his fingers. "Melina! See if you can help this kid!" A woman with very pale blonde hair rushes over to tend to Acme. As she applies gauze of sports medicine to him, the warforged continues. "A'right, wings. You hear to try out?"

Maddie clears her throat. "If you're here for tryouts, get on the field. If you're here to gawk, go stand with the pervs." She points to a roped off area that is marked 'gawking pervs.'

Jennifer still wasn't interested in cheering, but she was more than willing to support her friends, so the prospect of sitting in an area that designated her a perv struck her as somewhat unwelcoming. Nevertheless she tried to find a place in the box where she could get a good look at the action without being misidentified.

Jennifer's skin went straight to crimson. "That's not!... I'm just here to watch! But not like that! I'm just... I mean..." finally she gave up and resorted to hiding her shame by sticking her face into the BBEG T-shirt.
