"Okay!" the medusa says, "watch and follow. Then we'll do it up to speed." She walks through some basic steps, then turns back to the group. "Ready! Okay!" And she repeats the steps, expecting everyone to keep up.
Maddie leans back in a director's chair, frowning. "I'm still not sure that frog is a girl."
"Hey," a gnome sitting near Jennifer says. "You should really be out there. You'd look hot in one of those cheer skirts."

"It's a runnin' game," Klank says. "An' cannons were outlawed during the PCAA Football Summit eight years ago." He shakes his head. "Damn shame. Might as well be playin' touch football with all the safety regs nowadays."

Jennifer sat uncomfortably next to the gnome before looking to Rae with relief. "Hi Rae! Sorry do you mind if we just scootch a little bit this way?" she scooted to put a solid five feet between her and the gnome before giving a quick prayer.

"Dear Asmodeus, please protect us from weirdos. Thank you. Nos Nihil Ante Vos."

with that, a gout of hellfire erupted from the ground between her and the gnome, continuing to form a barrier between them for as long as she maintained it.

Maki is giving her best and from somewhere deep down this sudden burst of skill came up.(the performance twenty) maybe beacuse she is thinking of frances.

"Looking good, girls!" Maddie shouts enthusiastically. She claps, then walks among the girls. "Go home, go home, go home... you literally, just... drop out of school and go home." She pauses at one auburn-haired human. "You're Snilloc's kid? Yeah, you're in." Then she walks over to Maki and Hano. "Okay, you," she says to Maki, "that was amazing. You're in. And..." She sizes up Hano. "We kinda need a catgirl to cover all our cliches." She calls back to Willow. "Hey! What's happening with the ninja!?"

The gnome yelps at the sudden bonfire and slides well away.

she gave some very enthusiastic cheering of her own from the box as Maki and Hano did their thing.

"Way to go guys! You're doing great! Whoo!"
