Rae sips a spoonful of broth. "I know what we be deliverin' t'yer settlement. What sorts of things do ye be sellin' from here?"

"There are herbs that seem to be native only to this world, and those have valuable medicinal properties. They fetch a good price from all the core worlds, and make for good trade. And since our community is so small, and our native crop so plentiful, we are able to serve as a trade hub. We'll get more from your ship than we need, and use that to trade with the next vessel that comes in."

Rae rubs her chin. "That be interestin'," she says. "Might be makin' fer a fair profit on Sigil. Ye have a portal to that city on yer planet?"
Offline
"Not that I'm aware of. As I say, portals tend to favor the 'main' planet in a shell. It's easier to get to Krynn by planar travel than to the rest of the system."
Offline
"That hardly be seemin' fair," Rae opines.
Offline
"Perhaps. But it keeps the Spelljamming industry vital."

Rae nods. "Sailin' be more fun than walkin' through a portal." She finished up her soup then she stood up, "well, if ye be pardonin' me, I got t' get back to th' ship before I'm missed. Thank ye for the hospitality,an' hopefully we be meetin' again soon."

"I'll look forward to it. I never tire of hearing about travels to other worlds."

Saying goodbye, Rae leaves and returns to the ship in port.

Rae returns in time to see guards taking Macaw and Sands away in manacles. A furious-looking Hyacinth watches from the gangplank.
