Sarah nods and turns, surprised to see Shiki not at her side and keeps turning, eventually realizing the girl is behind her and says, "I'll lead the way, then." She waves back and adds, "See ya, Neil!" before heading off.

"Litha...ros? Who is that?" Shiki asks as she bobbles along behind Sarah, still peering at Neil from time to time and hiding her face underneath Iffie. "Wah, there's so many different kinds of people to meet here... he seemed nice."

Sarah nods and says, "Yeah, it's crazy. Everyone is so...Different. Definitely not what I'm used to." She pauses, then knocks on the door of 506, adding, "What about you? Where're you from?"

Shiki nods enthusiastically as she expresses, "I'm from Castle Pandemonium!" without even thinking to spell the plane she's from. "My mother is a big, important vampire lady, Lady Akasha!" Really, on the grand scale of things, she's kind of like a backwater princess.....
"And, this is my retainer, Ildun," she gestures to the sword at her back. "He's really stuffy, but he's smart and knows all kinds of things."
There's something approximating a sigh from the blade, as he intones, "Of which I dare to inspire at least a tiny fraction of in milady. Heaven knows no such luck thus far, however."

Sarah looks sadly sympathetic and says, "That's...Really rough, I'm sorry." Inwardly, she wonders why Shiki is so excited about her mom being undead, but writes it off as a coping mechanism. She instead turns her attention to the blade and says, "I see. I hope you can do it, for both your sakes."

"Rough? What's rough? I guess Ildun is kinda pointed and jaggedy...?" Shiki muses, before Ildun sighs very much to remark, "Yes, this may be the greatest challenge I have ever been appointed to, Milady Sarah."

Sarah gives Ildun a look before replying to Shiki, sounding confused, "No...I mean...your mom..." She searches for a way to put it gently before resigning to just flat out saying it, "Being undead and all."

"Oh! Um, no, she doesn't seem bothered by it? I mean, all of my sisters and brothers are also vampires, including me!" Shiki beams brightly, tilting her head. "We're a big happy vampire family!"
"... in a crystal palace of death and chill, oppressing the uneducated masses, conquering those who seek to bring light to Pandemonium..."

Creig is halfway down the stairs, pausing in mid-stride. "Vampires?"
He dashes back up. "You know, forget all that pet license stuff. Terrible misunderstanding, I didn't have all the information at the time. Listen, I think I have a series of extremely lucrative business propositions you might be interested in."

Sarah takes a smart step back from Shiki and slowly says, "Aaalright then. Uh..." She sees Creig and shakes her head, thinking to herself, Well I can't leave her with this idiot. But I also don't want her getting silly ideas about me either...Damn! Damn damn damn! Eventually Sarah opens her mouth and says, "Trust me on this, you don't want what he's trying to sell you."
