Re: Into the Bookstore of the Drow

"We are Drow," the head guard says. "We have no betters..." A priestess walks by and they all quickly kneel before standing again. "We have no betters!"

The group near the cave mouth can see it goes fairly deep in. Not more than a few steps in, a side cavern breaks off to the right (although, notably, the bookstore is to the left), while the main cavern continues forward.

Re: Into the Bookstore of the Drow

Marty watched the tiefling girl pray in her sincere and somewhat adorable manner, finishing up with a phrase that the rogue could only assume was infernal.  "Yeah.  Thanks."  She mumbled.  She was here in a drow and spider infested underground with an actual devil worshiper and and ego-maniacal construct.  And a really pretty guy that didn't even know she was alive.

Every part of that was bad.  So... why was she feeling so alive?  So... almost giddy?"  She hadn't felt this good since, well, since it happened.  "Adventure sounds good to me."  She declared, moving closer to Leo.  "I mean, who's so say that what appears to the the wrong way isn't actually the right way, just turned around to deceive the lazy?"  Or not.  Whatever the case, it would be fun.  Hopefully.

"Or they might have hidden the key that opens the door at the end of the main passage up that side path.  We really should check."

Jennifer raised her mace. "Democracy is an institution by which the weak attempt to deprive power from the strong, but I vote left. Nothing good is going to come from getting lost in a drow city."
