"We'll have this rounded up in a moment. Best let the officials handle this; we already have many apologies that have to be formally presented to good clients we'll suffer from losing."
Moments later, a rustling from the foliage beyond the docks attracts everyone's attention, and a massive black dragon launches itself into the air, chasing down Felderrel's ship, spitting acid into the side of it before ripping the sails apart with claws and teeth.

Rae looks at the black dragon tearing into von Felderrel's ship, jaw slackened. Then she turns back to look at the port guard who had accepted the Interlopers bribe. "How much did that scallywag pay ye t' get ye t' betray that? Ye must've th' most barmy, daft, idiotic picaroon's I ever be seein'!"

"Damn sight more money'n I make here in a year," he says. "An' the promise of more." He says that as if he's trying to be cocky, but in the air above him, pieces of ship plummet to the ground over the vast jungle, and the guard's face goes slack.
The dragon dives back into the forest.

"So, I be guessing, Mei Ling be controllin' that monster?" Rae says to the guard, "Be she a Planeswalker?"

"I don't know anything about Mei Ling controlling monsters," the captain says. "And I can't say I know what a Planeswalker is. But I shouldn't say it's impossible. She's a very mysterious old woman."

Rae nods at the response. With the guard declining her help and Mei Ling gone, Rae finds the closest port side tavern and goes inside. She needs to find a ship going back to the Rock or forward to Krynn... But for now she needed rum. She checked her coin purse and sighed. Not much left and in her haste to see captain Macaw and crew safely off planet, she sent them away...she didn't want them to face the wrath of Felderrel if he turned hostile toward her... But that meant she didn't have her pay for services on the voyage so far.
She might need to ration what she had left... But after the rum. Lots of rum. She sat down at the counter and slapped a silver and a few coppers on the counter. "As much rum as that be buyin' me, barkeep. Thank ye."

"She doesn't pay here," Mei Ling says, entering, and the bartender quickly pours. "I don't know what magics you employed, dear, but I do recognize debts." She sets a sack of coin before Rae. "If you catch up with Macaw, be sure to let him know we will make good on moneys lost, as well."

Rae's eyes widened as she looked at the bag of coins. "Oi, thank ye! I be hopin' Cap'n Macaw be comin' back." She takes a drink of rum. "I be implorin' him t' get help fer ye...but that was before I knew ye had a dragon ally. Ye didn't need th' help after all, did ye?". She reaches for the bottle and refills her cup. She sighs and drinks the whole cup of rum. She leans back an looks toward Mei. "I'm glad ye be safe."

"I haven't gotten to the age I am without knowing a thing or two," she says.

Rae smiles. "I be guessing not...". After she finishes her rum,and Mei had retired from the tavern Rae walked about the small port town when a bit of inspiration struck. The dragon looked to have done a serious number on the ship it scuttled...but there might be a decent sized chunk left. And one of the dock workers had suggested they took a bribe more than he made in a year...and Von Felderrel indicated he had a lot of money in the investment... Perhaps there was a lot of money on the right part of the ship, if she could only find it.
Rae flew into the air, high over the jungle looking for large sections that might have survived the dragon's wrath. She was especially looking for the sterncastle, for the Captain's quarters were likely to be where the best stuff was.
