"Nigel! Jookbox was supposed ta be introducin' us to ya. Damn good ta meet ya," he shakes the boy's hand energetically, "I'm puttin' a band together an' everyone tells me you're the guy to get."

"Oh? Really? I mean, I like to play. Um... Jookbox is really kind. I'd really like to join, though... Oh, crap, you never actually said you wanted me to play, you just told me you were putting a band together. I just completely jumped to a conclusion. Sorry."

"Awesome. We're gonna be doin' original stuff for the cheer squad, got Miss Weber's blessin' an' everythin'. What's yer instrument of choice, the mandolin? If so we definitely got strings covered, gotta find us a quality percussionist."

"I mean, I could play mandolin. Or whatever. Lute, lyre, harp, harpsichord, dulcimer, flute, trumpet, trombone, banjo, alto saxophone... um, tenor saxophone, cello, french horn. Whatever you need, I guess."
