What, no Carrier of Animal Holding? Is that a thing in fifth? Was it ever? Oh well, you are probably going to have to just beat it senseless and drag it back. The hamster offers a tiny shrug.

"Well, when we were looking for a puppy-sized elephant I figured we'd carry the little fella back." She replied. "This whole trip might not be my best idea." She looked the elephants and the hippos and the other small creatures over.
"What do you think one of those hippos weighs? Two, maybe three hundred pounds?"
Offline
"Probably less than two hundred," Mitzi says. "But not much."
"The obvious answer," Kel says, "is to bat it on the nose, and have it chase you back through the portal."
Offline
"I suppose that might work." She seemed doubtful. "How fast do hippos run?"
Offline
"One way to find out," Kel says.

"Go punch one then." Marty dared the pixie. "We'll just... wait back here, closer to the portal."

Blue sniggers. Yeah you go right ahead.

"Hey, I'm the idea man. I brought hirelings along for the heavy lifting."
"You're the hireling," Mitzi says. "For Celestia's sakes." She strolls over, hands in front of her, making some gentle noises and very slow movements. Her animal handling roll is poor, and shortly, she has a miniature hippopotamus charging at her. "Ahhhhhh!!!"

Should we do something? Set it on fire maybe? The hamster sounds rather unperturbed.

"I suppose we should." Marty decides, and she unties the sleeves of the jacket wrapped around her hips. Holding it at the shoulders, she waved it about to distract the hippo.
"Hey Hippo!" She yelled. "Go away! Or... ole! Or something." She was ready to jump back and lead it toward the portal if the beast came at her.
