Marty whips her rapier about high overhead and along the drier sections of wall, collecting web into she gathered a skein-sized ball of the gossamer stuff. "Here you go." She pokes the end of the weapon toward Maki, allowing her to gather or discard what she wanted.

All the silky webs would make for fine rope or garments.which ever i can keep. if rope i can craft if a wonderful giant silken spider web dress.

Marty points and Rae looks up and sees the bridge guard, totally facing the wrong way. Like he's only paid to watch the cave and could care less what's happening in the tunnel below him.
Rae points him out. "There be no sure rigging here for an easy climb... so we should go around, through th' cave marked giant crabs."
She leads the way down to the end of the hallway, then peeks into the cave/room beyond.

"Sounds good." Marty followed the pirate parrot around the corner, keeping an eye pealed and an ear down for signs or crabs or other arthropodial menaces.

From the corner, no crabs are visible, but the water of the algae-smelling pool splashes a bit more than still waters with no source of wind should.
