Frances would nod and said "Hello there Smash, nice to meet you." He said.

Nigel nods silently. "I'm, um... i... I'm fine. Everything has been very loud."
"Nice t'meet ya," Smash pats Nigel on the back enough to stagger him forward.

"Alright, looks like we got ourselves a band. So our first gig is ta' whip up some songs for the cheerleaders. Nigel, I'm thinkin' we'll want you on horns for a lotta 'em, but we can definitely do some killer string mixes with guitar, violin, an' mandolin. Anyone else got any thoughts?"

Frances would step up a bit and said "Well, something I think we could also try out if anyone is game, all those who can use Mage Hand to play an extra instrument?" He suggested, glowing his eyes white as he snapped his fingers and layed a harp down for his mage hand to go to it. "It...took a bit of practice but it has come in handy." He suggested. "what do you three think?" He asked the newly formed band.

"Yeah, I don't got no mage hands," Smash says, "but that looks kinder cool."
"I'd never thought about that before," Nigel admits. "But I think it's something I could manage."

"I don't even know Mage Hand," Leo shrugs.

Frances would nod a bit and said "Alright then, well no worries, there's two of us who can use the mage hand trick. Real challenge is the multitask that it demands." He said, the last part to Nigel.

"Oh, well, um... I'll certainly try my best. I'm usually pretty good at, um... picking up new techniques. Like last week, I had never even played the bass clarinet, but I was offered first chair in the campus orchestra yesterday, so... um... I got pretty good at that, I guess."

"Dang Nigel, you sound like some kinda prodigy. So, if anyone's got ideas for songs, feel free to get writin'. Then we can bring all our ideas together and start collaboratin'."

"I think I might have some ideas," Nigel says, humming a bit to himself, then "of course the alto instruments are more," more humming, "then... I'll write this down. I'll, um... find me later."
