The dragonborn flings a shuriken which embeds neatly in the seam of the crab's shell, then rolls in and cracks one of its delicious looking legs. Another burst of flame from Jennifer sizzles it a bit, but it's still standing, and possibly angry (it's hard to tell with a crustacean).

Maki's hook cracks the shell, giving her an opening to plunge the dagger into its fleshy bits. The huge beast drops to its... do crabs have knees? I mean, there's joints, but are they technically... Its crab knees. It looks sort of the worst for wear. Other crabs attempt to scuttle over and around it, but the cavern walls don't let them all pour through at once. The first few through the opening attempt to snap at the party members closest to them, but they can't quite get in close enough thanks to their wounded alpha.

(Marty, the Leo, then back to Unit. Boss crab is still alive, but the next hit will do him in)

Leo levels his crossbow and puts a bolt through the big crab's eye.

"Hoo-yah," he exclaims, "got 'em! Now c'mon Marty, get back in there!"

(Standard action: Attack, 15 to hit and 4 damage, rolled in Discord and confirmed that it finishes the big crab off. Bonus action: Marty gains Bardic Inspiration.)

Unit reaches over the huge dead crab to stab at it's smaller brethren, his humming blade jabbing into it's small, hideously organic face.

Silgon says... looks like we will not be eating in the student dinning hall tonight, as he pulls his Wakizashi and slices the closest threatening crab and then does a spinning back kick to try and launch it away.
