Ililly uses mendin on the leaks she can

The Pride would make a few more sharp turns to avoid rocks, the water still too choppy at the edges of the maze as they kept sailing.

Soon however the Pride would be coming into the center of the Maw, and musket bullets would be whizzing by as Blood ducked and yelled "Get your heads down!" he would then peek over the railing.

What the crew of the Pride stumbled on was the ship they were hunting, as well as a small naval fort. Blood would look the fort over a bit, there would a few interesting looking buildings and soldiers firing at the ship, but no cannons. This place was out of the way, had they not followed their target they would have never been found. "Well well...looks like we get to sink our teeth into something juicy." Blood said with a smirk and chuckle. "ALL HANDS MAN THE CANNONS!" He yelled as he smirked. "Let's show these boys how pirates control these waters."

Looking over the way there would be four buidlings that the cannons can hit and the harbor that held the damaged ship Thane was on.

There was the obvious HQ towering over the rest of the port, and then three one story buildings that looked a like, one had soldiers rushing out of it and running into another. The second buidling was where soldiers were running into and soon running out armed with muskets. The third buidling however no one was bothering with. The last point of interest was the small port that held two ships, both of which were in need of repairs. From the looks of things, this was not built to be defended.

Some side notes, it 'is' possible to do enough damage before landing that there will only be one person to fight, Thane. And then there's the shift from naval to land combat, some folks can't fight on naval terms but will once in range. Also, there's 6 turns before the Pride makes land fall, good luck.]

Pete rushes to his cannon and aims at the armory.  "I gots somethin' fer ya, jest hold stiiiiilll..."  Firing, he sends a cannonball right through the door.

Daran rushes to a canon and aims to take down the partially destroyed building. "I'll take this one down for good."
He lights the fuse... *BOOM* and nothing... just a boom.
"Oh effin aye!! Totally forgot to load a canon ball......" Daran says smacking his forehead with his palm.
 

"Let soften up those scallywags," says Rosé, aiming her cannon at the barracks and firing away.
