Of course Silgon is a bit concerned, now that his dinner is trying to take a piece of him. So..with a Mighty wack..he strikes at his dinner with his wackizashi, and follows UP with a straight down punch. Hoping to tenderize the already succulent meat into utter submission.

Jennifer could see that fire might not be the best option for dealing with the crabs that had grappled Silgon and Maki, and so resolved that perhaps a more supportive course of action was in order.
"Dear Lord Asmodeus, so I know that we're still dealing with the crabs, but right now they've grabbing my friends, and I'm kind of worried that more fire might get them caught up in it. I'm not blaming you or anything, it's just that I'm worried since I read that a lot of mortals don't have fire resistance so we might accidentally hurt them. Do you think you could help them get out of the crabs' grip first before we continue incinerating the crabs? Thanks, nos nihil ante vos."
A crimson glow enshrouded Jennifer's hand as she rushed up to Maki to help her pull out of the crab's grip. As she touched her, the glow spread from her palm into Maki's body, and she could hear a diabolical whisper in her ear.
"Twist your leg, feel the pain, let it fuel your rage. Once you break free, the vengeance you will wreak upon this insolent vermin of a crustacean will be all the sweeter..."
(Guidance. Maki can add 1d4 to one ability check, such as an athletics or acrobatics check to escape the grapple.)

The crab being so close to his leg makes it difficult for Silgon to strike it with his sword, but the punch lands true and cracks the crab with a sickening crunch. Its still alive, but it's not healthy.
Jennifer gives Maki that bonus, and that makes it Maki's turn before more crab turns.

Rae rushes into the room and sees the burning body of the massive crab and the remaining pair of crabs attacking Maki and Silgon. With Jennifer close to Maki, helping her, Rae hurries across the cave drawing her rapier and stabbing at the crab. And missing everything but the ground.

Maki's dagger hits the crab, digging a bit under the shell. It snaps at her again, but grabs the dagger blade instead, which irritates it to the point that it scuttles back toward the pool, away from the party and around the monster crab.
The crab worrying Silgon also snaps at him again, but misses this time, ending its grapple.
(Marty then, just everybody)

Marty's grin widened. "Wow! Thanks Leo."
She kept swinging with all the energy and panache she'd been using, and though she looked more like a small kid playing sword-fighting than someone that knew what they were doing, she managed a skip-step thrust that literally skewered the least damaged of the crabs.
Pulling the blade free, she somersaulted back with a thrust of heel into carapace and landed deftly on her feet a yard back. "Thanks :Leo." She repeated. "Couldn't have done that without you cheering me on."

"Any time, Marty. Now lets finish off the last of these dumb crabs."
The word "dumb" is heavy with enchantment, aiming right for the critter's ego.
(Vicious Mockery at the last remaining crab, Will save at DC 14 or it takes 1d4 psychic damage and disadvantage on its next attack roll.)

Rae laughs even as she stabs at the crab on Silgon. "Arrr, Marty, ye be needin' t' get a bunk."
Her blade sinks into the crab's body.

Marty stabs the crab attacking Maki clean through, resulting in crab-on-a-stick.
Meantime, Leo seems to have hurt the final crab's feelings as it skitters around Silgon. This doesn't matter, as Rae cracks it in half with a well place blow.
