Frances was about to take a sip before holding his hand in front of his teeth as he let a laugh out. "Don't forget biscuits." He said in between a few laughs.

Frances would shake his head with a chuckle as he motioned to a table. "Thank you Ms. Jayla." He said, wanting to lead Maki to a table to have a private chat with.

Frances' would have his eyes glow a bit light red as she said that, catching him off guard as he cleared his throat. "Oh uhm, well it is of some importance." He said, pulling out a chair for Maki to sit as he would sit across from her. "But yeah, hey, if you don't mind me asking, what do you know about the different bard colleges?" He asked.
 

Frances would nod and said "I see, well performing is, well it's kind of easy, most of it is letting your feelings out in an art style." He said. Then he would nod and said "Well, alright. See I'm from a...kind of not very liked collage to most." He whispered to only letting Maki hear. "I would like this to remain between us. A 'Whisper in the wind' if you will." He said, placing his finger to his teeth in a 'shh' manner. "But...the man I told you about, who brought me into the realm of the bards, showed me a way to stay off the corruption of the collage of Whispers." He said very quietly. "Most...are not fond of us for reasons or another...I believed it would be best to let you know which one I'm from." He would finish with taking a sip of his drink.

He would then say "You...might hear some bad things about them from time to time, most are true, but the corrupt have tainted the name if you ask me."

Frances would chuckle as he held her hand a bit as he said "Thank you. Not many are as open minded as you are." He said, taking another small sip of his drink. "But like I said, let's keep this but to a whisper in the wind." He said quietly with a chuckle.
