The lupin assassin glances over the top of the paper, then quickly lifts it again. He sidles very casually around the corner. Shortly a robed figure in a different hat walks around, sits on a bench, and starts reading a newspaper.

Frances would nod a bit in agreement and asked in a whisper "So, do you have anything cooking in your head currently?" He asked, wondering what Maki might be thinking.

Frances would be right behind Maki as he would also be running, though he would be wondering where they were running to now.

The cloaked dog-man runs behind them, keeping the paper in front of his face in an attempt to remain casual as he sprints. As a result, he runs into a lamp-post, a newspaper box, an ogre, and then the ogre's fist several times, although by this point, he isn't running any more.
