Neil's door opens and he bobs excitedly on the other side. "Well, how do, gang! I'm made brownies and --was saving it for a surprise, but I can't resist-- there's LEMON SQUARES in the over!"
Apparently the RA's room is equipped with an oven.

"Nice to meet you, Jennifer. As for Chi-Chi, it's not so much that I can understand her as I found out some common she knows and gesturing helps get points across a lot better. Also that she has a pretty singing voice. Likely gonna have some classes with her though, so I'll work on it - I mean, the broken common, the clothes, the fact she could lift this at all, she's probably barbarian major too, right? That said, may want to just share whatever food you have on hand - she seems to not be used to plentiful food, so it's something she seems to really appreciate."
Lorenzo relaxes slightly as assistance comes, letting them help guide from the front while he took the brunt of the weight from the back.
Jennifer considered all this. She certainly hadn't ever heard of a Halfling Barbarian, but Lorenzo's logic did seem to make sense. She did know how to cook, perhaps she could try to make some snacks for the both of them to enjoy. This train of though suddenly made her gasp in excitement.
"Deviled Eggs! I can make Phlegethos deviled eggs for the cookout. Oh, you guys would love it I'm sure. Let's see we'll need eggs, hell-hens preferably but I can improvise, mayo, and most importantly Baatorian mustard and Peppercornugons. Shoot I didn't think I'd need to pack my spice cabinet in with my other herbs. Neil, where's the nearest spice store?"

Frances would have kind of slicked off to the back of the group for this one. First of all, he would have tried to help with the cauldron but more than likely lost a hand or arm, literally. That and he wasn't one for cook outs, sure he could play his music but...
"Ah, speaking of the store, there are a few items I need to gather for myself as well. I recon I'll go ahead and head off, pick them up real quick. Sorry for the sudden change of plan but I'll catch up with you lot later." He said doing a slight bow to the group as he would head to the lobby and head out before getting dragged into the cook out himself.

"Avast," Rae says to Frances. "If ye be needin' to go t' th' market, why not wait for us t' get our shoppin' list together and weigh anchor with us? Our last field trip was fun," she holds up a Tier Breche keychain. "I got a souvenir."

After an hour of rest while meditating... Silgon feels like new. He stretches and grabs his money pouch and takes about half of the total amount he now has. WOW! he thinks to himself, "Adventuring has it perks. I almost doubled my money today." Leaving the other half in his dresser. He heads out the door , locking it and goes to see what kind of progress has been made for the cook out. Ps.. also takes his weapons. ;)

"Gosh, fellers! Sure, I'd love to join your cookout!" Neil says. "Ooo. I could make cookies... who likes chocolate chip? Or peanut butter or..." He gasps, and his terrifying toothy grin widens, "Peanut butter chocolate chips!"
At Jennifer's question, Neil thinks. "Well, there's a place in town called Illegitimate Spice Dealers that... wait, is that the good one or is Legitimate Spice Dealers... one of them sells spices and the other one is a front for organized crime, I think. I can't remember which is which."
